"Sophia Momodu Is Demanding $800 For Nanny's Fee From Davido"

Famous blogger, Cutie Juls has accused Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu of restricting the singer from his daughter, Imade.

A startling discovery regarding the drama between Davido and Sophia has resulted from the current drama between music superstar Davido and his former best friend and colleague, Tiwa Savage, which was sparked by her baby daddy, Teebillz.

Cutie Juls, a blogger, has revealed Sophia Momodu’s absurd expectations and regulations from Davido.

The blog claimed that Sophia was requesting $800 in pay for Imade’s nanny, which is needed to be paid over a two-year period through her lawyers..

This is so depressing for some of us and not fair on Imade at all.

The little girl keeps sending messages via paternal family members on how much she misses her dad, they should help her tell dad how much she loves him etc.

Dad on the other hand also misses Imade. All this beef with Tiwa was because of this same issue. David saying Tiwa is one of the main persons who can talk to Sophia to allow him see Imade and therefore Tiwa has not shown him much brotherly love. Well I beg to differ because for the fact that Tiwa makes all efforts for her son and baby father to see each other and have a relationship doesn’t mean she can make all her friends do the same or can force to do the same. From my findings, Tiwa sef had tried in the past but it didn’t work. Sophie says David should respond to her lawyers and then from there she can allow visitation rights to avoid any negative narratives.

Both David and Imade from my findings are missing each other. Well at this point, David and Sophie don’t really matter to me. It’s the little girl. Omo, her messages will drive sane message crazy. No child deserves to go through this. 🥲💔

Sophie may be also going through her own emotional stress because she has to deal with all Imade’s emotional distress on daily basis.

This whole thing is just crazy

I pray the people handling legal proceedings speed up things so this little girl will have her emotions intact. It’s so unfair.

Sophie says David should start by paying Nanny’s fees in arrears for 2 years. I think they said it’s around $800 a month and the money should be paid via her lawyers.

Abeg, the long and short is that whoever is handling the legal proceedings should hurry up because it’s the innocent child’s emotions suffering for it.

Yemi Alade cautions fan who tried to stoke rivalry between her and Tiwa Savage

The self-styled Mama Africa urged the over-exuberant fan not to make a comparison among artists.

Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage are two of the biggest female African music superstars to come out of Nigeria. However, it would be quite an arduous call to conclude that the duo are on friendly terms, at least from the perspective of their respective fanbase.

It’s on this premise, however flawed it might appear, that their teeming fans are floating the idea of a rivalry between the two songstresses.

However, Alade may have done enough to dismiss the notion of any bitter rivalry between her and Savage when she cautioned an over-excited fan on X (formerly Twitter) from trash-talking her Nigerian contemporary.

Responding, the fan with username @ThatNigerianlad replied to the post with a derisive comment aimed at Savage, writing, "U better than tiwa."

But Alade quickly shut down the X user, saying, "Comparison is the thief of Joy. We're both winning.... celebrate and support us all."

Ondo By-Election: APC Aspirant petitions Ganduje, Rejects Outcome of Primary.

An aggrieved aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Olugbenga Araoyinbo, who contested the ticket of the party during the primary election for Akoko North-East/North-West Federal Constituency of Ondo State, at the weekend has rejected the result of the exercise.

Araoyinbo in a petition to the national leadership of the party alleged that there were irregularities during the primary held a few days ago ahead of the February 3 by-election.

Pmnews.ng recalls that Ifeoluwa Ehindero had emerged as winner of the primary held at Victory College, Ikare-Akoko, headquarters of Akoko North-East Local Government Area of the state.

While expressing dissatisfaction with the outcome of the primary, Araoyinbo stated that the guidelines of the party regarding the conduct of primary were not met during the exercise.

According to him, the result of the primary should be cancelled, because, particularly, no congress was held in the two local governments that made up the constituency prior to the primary.

He also maintained that the delegates’ lists were not made available to the aspirants before the primary was held.

“Over 90 genuine, committed, and faithful party members from across the 23 electoral wards who paid for and collected forms to participate in the delegate congress which was scheduled for the 5th of January 2024 for the primary election were excluded as the delegate congress did not hold as scheduled.

“But instead, fake and unknown persons were injected into a fake delegate list which was not even made available to the aspirants before the time scheduled for the primary election and even till I write this letter, ”
 he stated.

How Will You Handle The News Of Ronaldo And Messi's Retirement From Football?

Believe it or not, Ronaldo and Messi are two of the greatest players to ever play the game.

Though, I will not deny the fact that the emergence of social media is greatly responsible for showcasing their Era and time on pitch to be better than the likes of Pele and Maradona to name a few. Fandom and viewer participation which saw great advancements due to the social media revolution also contributed to the success of this duo above all other iconic footballers dead or living.

The rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo has spiced up the world of football in a way that the game has never seen and it will be practically impossible to replicate the Era of this duo anytime soon. (Maybe 1000 years from now).

Anytime I remember that their retirement is around the corner, my heart skips and I know that football for me will never remain the same.

Look at what has become of the once highly competitive la liga. It's now a shadow of itself since the exit of the two greats.

The highly sought after El clasico no longer brings the joy and tension it once did.

Though, we will be counting on the likes of mbappe, Haaland or garnacho to keep the tempo up but Ronaldo and messi will surely leave a gap too wide for anyone to fill.

As we know, all good things come to an end, but I believe we will always have the age long goat debate that will live on even when the two greats hang their boots.

Whether you you are team Messi or a Ronaldo fan boy like myself, everybody who is privileged to witnesses their Era in football will forever cherish their memories. Both of them.

I just personally dread the idea that the moment any of them announces retirement, the rest will be history and I will never see them live on the pitch again.

Amid his rift with Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said nobody can bring him down because God raised him.

He said detractors ganging up and plotting to bring him down will fail.

Speaking when he visited his loyalist and former Rivers Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Felix Obuah, at his Omoku country home in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area, Wike said those who ganged up against him in the past failed.

According to Wike: “Anybody that God has raised, you cannot bring down. It doesn’t matter how many they are; it doesn’t matter the number of meetings they hold. They will not succeed.

“It is not about today. You praise Wike. Heaven and earth know that without Wike, this and that. The next day, Wike must go down. It is not going to work. You cannot bring me down.

“I’m not the most intelligent person; I’m not the most handsome person. But as it pleases God, He chooses to put me where I am. So, anybody wasting his time to plot against me, you are plotting against yourself.

“They should go and check the history of those who plotted and what happened to them. They all failed. You must be a man of character.”

Juan Micha the head coach of Equatorial Guinea, has said he is not satisfied with his team’s result against Nigeria in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Speaking at a post-match news conference, Micha said he was unsatisfied with the result.

Micha, who said the result was not an achievement told journalists that he intended to continue to work to achieve his objectives in this edition of AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.

Equatorial Guinea earned a valuable point on the second day of Group A.

The Nzalang Nacional were able to resist the offensive might of the Super Eagles, largely thanks to the great form of goalkeeper Jesus Ngua, who was subsequently named Man of the Match.

After the draw against Nigeria, it was evident that Micha was not enthused.

“I think this selection that I lead is prepared day by day to compete in this tournament.

“I am lucky to know the details of football, having been a high-level player,” he said.

He added his teammates intended to keep their heads on their shoulders and not plunge into euphoria after this encouraging result.

“Our mission is not complete, we still have a lot to do.

“We are in a group stage, this is the first match. We will try to reach the next stage before seeing what happens next.”

Equatorial Guinea will face Guinea-Bissau on Thursday for the second game.

A victory against the Djurtus will allow Micha and his men to have a step in the round of 16.

During its three previous participations, the Central African country has always managed to get out of the group stages.

Seven suspects are in police custody in Ferndale, Johannesburg, following their alleged involvement in the kidnapping of a Nigerian businessman.

The successful rescue operation was carried out by the South African Police Service (SAPS) anti-kidnapping task team.

The 48-year-old businessman had been kidnapped in Fordsburg, Johannesburg, on Wednesday. The SAPS anti-kidnapping task team swiftly responded to the incident, successfully tracing both the victim and the suspects to a lodge in less than 24 hours after the kidnapping was reported.

National Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe confirmed the arrest of the suspects, revealing, “Six vehicles used by the suspects have been seized and impounded for further investigation. Money that was allegedly withdrawn from the businessman’s bank account has also been recovered.”

“In the last two years, the anti-kidnapping task team has arrested at least 300 suspects where victims were kidnapped for ransom payments,” Mathe.

The suspects in this latest incident will face charges related to the alleged kidnapping and any additional offenses uncovered during the investigation.

All Eyes On Victor Osimhen As Injury-hit Nigeria Face Uphill AFCON Battle

Nigeria may have to wrap star striker Victor Osimhen in cotton wool, put him in a bubble, place bodyguards around him during training, and inspect the pitch for anything with the potential to cause injury until they kick off their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations title hunt.

On Friday, Paul Onuachu became the third replacement player to be called up for Nigeria ahead of their opening game against Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, named in place of the injured Sadiq Umar, who suffered a knee injury in Monday's friendly game against Guinea.

Umar's departure came just days after Victor Boniface had also been forced to withdraw with injury. The Bayer Leverkusen striker underwent surgery the same day Umar was withdrawing from the squad. He was replaced by OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi.

This run of ill-luck has left the Super Eagles without at least five of their best players going into Africa's showpiece competition. For a team whose strength centred on a terrifying attacking talent featuring the likes of Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Boniface, Kelechi Iheanacho, Ademola Lookman, Umar amongst others, they have now been reduced to almost scraping the barrel for goal scoring forwards.

Despite the injuries, Nigeria have such an abundance of talent that the replacements are almost as good as the players lost. Yobo feels the only concern is whether they are mentally prepared: "The only thing is, are they mentally ready for AFCON right now?

The Supreme Court has re-affirmed Governor Alex Chioma Otti (LP) as duly elected and returned as Governor of Abia State in the 18th March Governorship poll.

The tribunal and Appeal court had earlier dismissed both petitions and affirmed INEC's declaration of LP candidate as valid.

Fresh facts emerged on Thursday that the luggage of the 44 passengers that boarded the DANA Air MD 83 aircraft flight Flight 9J0363 from Abuja to Port Harcourt on Tuesday has been retrieved.
The retrieve of the luggage a source close to the airline hinted came on the heels of complaints by some of the passengers who boarded the aircraft which overshot the runway of Port Harcourt Airport due to heavy rain.
The source hinted that the Accident Investigation Bureau ( AIB), the agency saddled with the probe of air accidents and serious incidents is yet to release the aircraft to the airline.
The source said the delay in releasing the aircraft may be unconnected with detailed probe into the serious incident.
A team of investigators from the AIB , led by its director of operations, Captain Dayyabu Danraka is in Port Harcourt to unravel the remote and immediate cause of the incident and make recommendations to forestall future occurrence.
Investigations revealed that DANA Air is reaching out to some of the 44 passengers for possible post trauma treatment.

Boy, 3, needs N9 million for heart surgery

The arrival of a new baby in any family is heralded with pomp and ceremony. It was  so on May 22, 2014 when the family of Mr and Mrs Amos Adeniyi from Ondo State were blessed with their third child, Richard.
Parents, understandably, are eager to see their children grow up well and healthy with the prospect of becoming responsible members of the society. Most parents feel disappointed and may break down, if their child that had been a source of joy, turns, as it were, to be a source of sadness and despair due to some complicated illness.
That is the mood pervading the family as their son Richard, born three years ago, has not shown any sign of “growing up well and healthy”.
According to the boy’s father, Richard was hale and hearty, full of life before last December 18. During breakfast, he could not finish his meal, he became very weak and his health condition changed as he had seizure.
Not comfortable with the situation of their son, the Adeniyis took Richard to a private hospital in Ifako from where he was referred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba.
He has been a patient of the Pediatric Cardiology Unit of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi Araba, Lagos.
According to clinical evaluation, Richard has symptomatic congenital heart disease, known as Tetralogy of Fallot by Echocardio-graphy
Richard requires urgent cardiovascular evaluation and open heart surgery to correct his heart defects to forestall irreversible and life-threatening complications. His medical condition has weighed down the family physically, emotionally and financially.
Narrating his plight, he said he had spent so much and he is still buying expensive drugs, which Richard takes every eight hours to sustain him before the operation in Germany by mid-March.

Footballer David Astori, 31, found dead in Italy

“Fiorentina are profoundly shocked to have to announce the death of captain Davide Astori after a sudden illness,” the Serie A club said on Twitter.
The 31-year-old, who leaves behind a two-year-old daughter, was in Udine to prepare for Sunday’s match against Udinese.
Astori died of “natural causes” after a “cardiac circulatory collapse” – a type of heart attack – Antonio de Nicolo, a Udine magistrate was quoted in Italian media as saying.
The magistrate added that it was “strange that such a thing happened without any warning symptoms in a profession which is so closely monitored”.
Astori’s body was taken to a hospital in Udine for an autopsy.
Fiorentina’s game was called off in the morning. The early kick off between Genoa and Cagliari, one of Astori’s former clubs, was abandoned when players learned the news while warming up on the pitch.
The Italian league then postponed the other five Serie A matches scheduled for Sunday, including the Milan derby.
Astori began his career at AC Milan, also playing for Cagliari and Roma before joining Fiorentina in 2015. He played 14 times for Italy.
Former team-mates, coaches and teams were amongst those taking to social media to express their grief.
Gianluigi Buffon, the Juventus captain, called Astori “a great man”.
“Farewell dear Asto”, wrote Buffon in a post on Instagram accompanied by a photo of the two players exchanging pennants before a game between their clubs.
Buffon said he did not usually make a habit of expressing his feelings about others.
“I want to make an exception to my rule because you have a young wife and others close to you who are suffering, but mostly because your little girl deserves to know that her dad was a good man… a great man,” Buffon wrote.
Radja Nainggolan, a Belgian international who played with Astori at two clubs, posted a photo of the two of them joyously celebrating a goal at Cagliari.
“A great player, but an even bigger man, so many battles fought together in Cagliari before coming to Rome, I cannot believe it,” he wrote.
Astori’s formative club Milan joined in.
“A man who loved football and who grew up with us. AC Milan is shocked by the tragic death of Davide Astori,” the club’s official account tweeted in English.
Matteo Renzi, a former mayor of Florence and now leader of the Democrat Party in Sunday’s Italian election, tweeted: “This seems to me impossible. I don’t believe it and I cry with the family and everyone at Fiorentina. Ciao capitano.”Facebook
