Pride of Britain 2014: Naughty Joey Essex told off by producers for being a chatterbox

Chatterbox Joey Essex was given a bit of a telling off after the Pride of Britain Awards last night.

According to sources, the former TOWIE star was given a big "shhhhhhh" by producers for being too noisy during the Daily Mirror's annual bash at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

Joey seemed to be in great spirits at the ceremony, and he looked dashing as he combined a white shirt with a black waistcoat and a patterned yellow tie.

His hair was tied up high again, and the reality TV hunk had a good time as he hung out with the likes of Alesha Dixon and Alan Carr at the glitzy event.

Joey was a number of lads managing to take some of the spotlight from the ladies on the red carpet last night.

Russell Brand made his usual Camden-meets-Hollywood style to the Pride of Britain Awards this evening, in a pair of skinny black jeans, which he teamed with an open white shirt and a black suit jacket with leather lapels.

The British funnyman told 3am on the red carpet that he was happy to be at the event, because the winners made him think: "Oh wow, perhaps inside all of us there is this capacity for greatness. It puts it all in context."

Also hitting the red carpet as Olympian and former Strictly winner Louis Smith, the hunky gymnast certainly made an impression with his slicked back hair and skinny black tie.

Choosing a bit of colour for the red carpet, Capital DJ Marvin Humes chose a striking blue suit for the night. Making a bold sartorial statement in the three-piece suit, Marvin also chose a skinny dark tie for the occasion to match his shoes. Suave or what!
