Bayern secure Bundesliga title for fifth time in a row

After crashing out of the DFB-Pokal at the hands of Borussia Dortmund, Carlo Ancelotti's men capitalised on an RB Leipzig draw to wrap up the league
Bayern Munich have been crowned Bundesliga champions for the 27th time, securing the title with a 6-0 win over Wolfsburg on Saturday.
A goalless draw between second-placed RB Leipzig and Ingostadt earlier in the game meant three points at the Volkswagen Arena would be enough to ensure another league triumph.
David Alaba put Carlo Ancelotti's men in the lead just 19 minutes into the game, before a double from Robert Lewandowski saw them go three ahead at the break. Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller and Joshua Kimmich were on target in the second half as Bayern strolled to three points.

The Bavarian side confirmed the title will end up at the Allianz Arena for the fifth year in a row with three games left to go.
It will be the only major piece of silverware for Ancelotti's side this term, as they were eliminated from the Champions League at the quarter-final stage by Real Madrid, before Borussia Dortmund beat them after extra-time in the DFB-Pokal semi-final in midweek.
Bayern have never ended a matchday outside of the league's top two this season and have lost just twice in the competition this term, winning 22. They sit 10 points clear of Leipzig and a further six ahead of Dortmund, while they have the best goalscoring and defensive records in the league - scoring 76 and conceding 17.
