President Buhari to visit states ravaged by herdsmen clashes

A fresh violence erupts between herdsmen and residents of Leme in Sadauna local government area of Taraba state - The Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Bagudu, says the prevalent herdsmen-farmers clashes are results of climate changes in the country President Muhammadu Buhari will as from Monday, March 5, begin a visit to Taraba, Benue, Yobe, Zamfara and Rivers states for an on-the-spot assessment of the various clashes that have occurred in those areas. The presidency in a tweet on Monday, March 5, stated that the president is also expected to console communities affected by violence.
