The 2015 Nigerian Private University Games(NPUGA) will hold at the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti(ABUAD) in December 2015.
This followed the ratification of the decision by the council to award the hosting right to the institution after approving the facilities put in place by the school for the hosting of games.
This was the resolution reached at the end of the three day meeting of the Npuga council meeting held at the Talent Discovery Centre, ABUAD campus in Ado Ekiti.
Association President, Akintunde Akinola expressed satisfaction with the facilities after an inspection of the facilities by council members.
“We have gone round and we have seen the readiness of ABUAD for the games.”
The founder, Aare Afe Babalola has given us his word that all the lapses will be corrected before the date of the games,”
Furthermore, he remarked “We have first Professor of Physical and Health Education in Nigeria, Prof Ajisafe as the acting vice chancellor of the institution, and he has given us his words, I want to believe them because they are reliable and credible,” he said, adding, “I so much believe that the school is in position to improve on all the facilities they have before the commencement of the games next year.”
