“Every Nigerian partaking in these elections should maintain peace, Ogun State Command will ensure everybody respects the law and we would be neutral because nobody is above the law.
“Towards a free, fair and credible elections, people should shun electoral offences, avoid violence, snatching of ballot boxes and electoral materials.
Also, speaking at the event, the state Chairman of CDHR , Olayinka Folarin explained that the forum was put in place to re-orientate the politicians on the need to respect one another’s right.
He said such peaceful co-existence would engender good economic development in the nation.
In his lecture, the guest lecturer, Mutiu Agboke charged the citizenry to have a new perception about the Police Force, noting that the police are allowed to curtail the freedom of the public based on the law.
