Super Eagles will bounce back, assures Keshi

The Nigeria national team handler has expressed his disappointment with the Eagles recent Fifa ranking while promising that his team will work harder to qualify for Afcon 2015
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshihas assured that the Super Eagles will remain focused towards ensuring they climb up the Fifa ranking as well as qualifying for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The reigning African kings dropped four places downward to place 37th in the world according to the September ranking released by the world soccer governing body last Thursday.
According the former Mali and Togo handler, the drop was eminent because of his side’s poor form in the Afcon qualifying series where they boast of just a draw in two games but promised things will work out good in subsequent outings.
"Definitely, I am not happy with the news but there is hope and the hope is that we need to work harder and focus on how we can regain that position,” Keshi told Complete sports.
"We worked hard to get there and if there is a drop now, nobody will be happy but like I said, there is hope.
"The recent two matches we played may have contributed to that but we are focused and looking ahead with the hope that things will get better.
"The most important thing to us as a team for now is making sure that we qualify for the Nations Cup and we will continue to do our best,” he concluded.
Nigeria will face Sudan in October to put re-launch their bid to defend the trophy won two years ago in South Africa.
